FROM STRUGGLING

TO MANAGING

Stop us if any of this sounds familiar. You’ve got a child with SEMH needs, on the brink of exclusion. Bright. Sensitive. Struggling.

Why can’t they manage school?

Because they don’t have the skills to cope with the daily pressures they face. They’re overwhelmed. Lashing out. Lost.  As are you.

You know what they need.  But there just isn’t the headcount, backup or hours to teach them how to regulate their feelings.

That sinking feeling? That’s what hurts you most. You do what feels possible. Referrals. Reduced Timetables. CPD.

That intervention that sort-of worked for that other child last year. But 'needs' still aren’t being met.

So you’re stuck in No Man’s Land.

That brutal middle ground where you’re out of ideas, services ghosts you, and the system says “just try harder".

There are no happy endings here. Just exhausted staff. A burnt out child. Another difficult call home. Another exclusion letter in draft.

If that’s you, take our hand. In 90 days we’ll navigate you and them from  “What next?” to  “We see real change”

DREAM MODE : ON

HERE'S HOW THE

MAGIC WORKS

You’ve got less patience for BS than school glue sticks. You don’t want a 19-week referral process. Or clipboard consultants.

Or another strategy that lives unused in a ring binder. You just want (and they need) immediate action so fast you'll need a seat belt.

14 days to take off it is. How do we do that? We’re nosey. And needy. We’ll demand documents and shine our torch in a lot of corners.

If we can help, our Crew will become yours. A back-to-basics intervention that plugs right into your school support options.

Like it was always meant to be there. Without adding to your workload or stepping on toes.

Targeted coaching of coping skills, done as they play freely in the woods, like we used to.

Helping them manage stress better when it comes. By practising when it’s off.

90 days later you’ll often see fewer incidents of challenging behaviour, better mental health and happier parents.

All you have to do is plug it in, turn it on, and fast-forward to the good part. Here's some of things you'll find in your goody bag;

  • 2 Set Days Per Week

  • Regular Reports And Tracking

  • All Policies, Ready To Roll

  • Strategies We Use

  • Attendance At Key Meetings

  • Your Favourite Song On The Radio.

WANT IN ON THE MAGIC?

MEET YOUR CREW

Say 'Hey' to your new BFF's. Muddy-booted, coffee-fuelled, people-you-actually-like kinda' BFF's.

People with calm heads, warm hearts and more stories than your school library. We're addicted to getting it right for the children.

Not someday. Now. When we’re not in the woods building dens or hanging out of a tree. We’re usually round our local, beer in hand.

Figuring out how to make the next season of support even better. For them and for you. Don't just take our word it. We're biased after all.

WANT SOME GOSSIP?

PEOPLE THAT HAVE WORKED WITH US AND LOVED TELLING THE TALE.

GOT QUESTIONS?

WE'VE GOT ANSWERS.

What Happens When It Rains?

They get wet?! We have a number of sheltering options available to us to keep off the worst of the British weather. No matter the weather conditions we're out in it. Except winds above 32 mph. That makes it to dangerous to go into the woods in case of falling branches, trees....or squirrels. As a fall back plan we hire out a local church hall and enjoy a day inside.

Should They Wear Anything In Particular?

Being outdoors requires certain clothing worn in a certain order. A guide is sent to each family we onboard of what to wear for each season. We also purchase a new set of waterproofs for every child that enters our Tribe.

Where Are The Toilets?

We have our own portable toilet facilities we bring in and out each session. It's more of a glorified bucket to be honest. But it does the trick.

How Do We Know How They're Getting On?

Each time we see a child, known as a session we take pictures and videos of what they get upto. This then gets uploaded into that child's Google Classroom once a week. These images are analysed for learning and development. Helping build our understanding of them. Each Half Term we complete an Update Of Progress for each child. Simply put a report. We also meet with school and parents to go over things to that point.

Are You Good At Sharing?

One of our Company values is Radical Transparency. Meaning we share a lot of things. Sometimes to much. This really helps when we work with schools, families and other Alternative Providers. Everyone knows where they stand and there are no surprises.

OMG! I'VE SEEN ENOUGH

I'VE READ EVERYTHING

  • This is exactly what we need.

  • Beautifully crafted Alternative Provision

  • That takes the pressure off.

  • But I'm still sceptical...

  • I want to see it all in action; trees, mud, children, Crew, safety, Ofsted credentials.

  • That reassures me this ain't too good to be true.

  • An satisfies the Heads questions.

  • I'm able to make or speak to the decision maker.

IF ALL OF THIS IS TRUE, THEN GO RIGHT AHEAD.
